Here are the steps to take to add a caption to your story;
Take a photo or video: Open the Instagram app and swipe right from your feed to access the camera. Take a photo or video that you want to share on your story.
- Tap on the text icon: After you’ve captured the photo or video, tap the text icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Type your caption: Type out your caption in the text box that appears. You can also choose from various font styles and colors to customize your caption.
- Adjust the size and position of your caption: Use two fingers to pinch or expand the text to resize it. You can also drag the text box to move it to a different position on the screen.
- Add any other stickers or effects: If you want to add any other stickers or effects to your story, you can do so before or after adding your caption.
- Share your story: Once you’re happy with your story, tap the “Your Story” button to share it with your followers.
