Threads is new and has crossed 100 million signups in just a few days since its launch. Amazing right? Even the CEO of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, is shocked at the growth rate and promises that we will be seeing more updates on the app.
Adam Mosseri on Thread said “With so many people joining @threads so fast these last six days (six days!) the team has been entirely focused on keeping the lights on and fixing bugs, but we’re starting to priorite the obvious missing features, like a following feed, the edit button, and post search. Which means they are focusing on what they might have put aside to get the app put first, like the edit button for posts, following feed, and post search.
He went on to confirm that the app has indeed had over 100 million users join Thread.
“100 million people signed up for Threads in five days. I’m not sure I can wrap my mind around that fact. It’s insane; I can’t make sense of it.The team has been busting their ass, but we know this is a race to the starting line. They say “make it work, make it great, make it grow.” Well, we certainly did things out of order, but I promise we will make this thing great”.
