Before you tap “Boost Post” again, check these 5 things first.

Does this post already have real engagement or are you boosting it to “see if it works”?
Boosting doesn’t fix a post nobody was interested in. It just spends money making more people ignore it faster.
2. Is there ONE clear action you want people to take?
Follow you? Message you? Visit your website? Buy now?
If you can’t answer that in one sentence, don’t boost it yet. Meta won’t know who to show it to, and neither will the person watching.
3. Have you actually set an audience or left it on “Automatic”?
“Automatic” means Meta shows your ad to people similar to your follower. What if you bought the followers? Not everyone following you is your customer. Anyone is just a number that makes your reach look good and your results look bad.
You can get better results if you are using the Advantage+
4. Does your bio or landing page match what the post promises?
If your post says “50% off this weekend” and someone lands on a page with no offer in sight, you didn’t get a customer. You got a bounce.
5. Do you know what a “good result” looks like BEFORE you spend the money?
If you don’t have a number in mind cost per message, cost per sale, cost per follower, you won’t know if the boost worked. You’ll just know you spent money.
The Real Talk Boosting isn’t the enemy.
Boosting blindly is.
A ₦10,000 boost with the right targeting can outperform a ₦100,000 boost with none.
Save this before your next boost.
